Arden Way
440 Arden Way Sacramento, CA
Project Manager: Jon McCall
Project Description
BRIDGE Housing Corporation is proposing to transform the vacant land and unoccupied buildings at 440 Arden Way into a vibrant new mixed-use development including 124 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments affordable to households who earn between 25% and 60% of the Area Median Income (AMI). 25% of those units will be set aside for homeless individuals and families, with comprehensive supportive services provided on-site. The entire mixed-use development, which sits immediately adjacent to a light rail station and bus transfer station, is being designed with a focus on sustainability. 440 Arden Way will be all-electric and constructed to the Green Point Rated Gold standard, provide on-site electric vehicle charging stations, and include an innovative building design that allows for the incorporation of Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) elements.
